Born in Herford/NRW, changeover to Bielefeld, after several educations lecturer at a private professional school


Since 2008 living near Berlin, working as freelance artist in his Berlin studio, regular exhibitions at home and abroad, work stays in Europe and Asia


2016 developing his "Photographic Paintings" in minimal art style, founding of art collective studio/4/2/ with Mareike Felsch


2020 Palm Art Award prizewinner


2021 grant for the documentation of a journey from Berlin to Kuala Lumpur by train


Christof Wegner is member of the Federal Association of Artists of the Fine Arts BBK




2021 funding of a photo project by the Ministry of Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg

2020 Palm Art Award winner of the Merit Award

Two aluminium plates with polyethylen core, inherentely stable, used for lamination of photographies or prints. By inward positioned hanging system the pictures seem to float at the wall.
